Zipped Folder

In this tutorial, I'll be showing you how to make a zipped folder. You can use a zipped folder for many things. It is not like a normal folder where you can just open it, it must either be unzipped to fully open or each file inside must be removed from it to be used. Zipped folders come in useful when you have a lot of files you want to share online. Since you can upload these to hosting sites that support zips (4shared), you can share brushes, pictures, and various files at once without having to repeated upload.

1. Open the folder you want. Do not do this in a program like Photoshop, Photofiltre, and so on because you cannot open it in those programs to see the content.

2. Right click in the folder and click on New -> Compressed (zipped) Folder.

2. Name it and you're done. To add files, just drag the file over to the folder as you would normally do with a regular folder. The image will COPY, not move. You'll have two. You can open the folder, but the thumbnail will be a default.

3. When you right click on it, it should have the option to extract.

I hope this helped you!
